Job description

  • Coordinate and organize the reception and welcome of clients at the airport.
  • Coordinate and assist with transfers from the airport to the hotel, ensuring compliance with company requirements and processes.
  • Organize and coordinate Transfer Assistants, providing guidelines to the staff on how to act in certain situations and face day-to-day challenges.
  • Assistance in cases of emergency.
  • Lead the team to ensure smooth operations at the airport during your shift.
  • Personnel supervision: punctuality, clocking in and out (GeoVictoria and/or paper template), mandatory uniform use, correct use of company materials, resolution of personnel incidents. This personnel supervision will be carried out by reporting each incident to the Operations Manager following the guidelines indicated by them or the company's management.
  • Receive and manage requests for shift changes from Airport Transfer Assistants through signed request forms from both parties involved, for the final approval by the Operations Manager.
  • Control and ensure the necessary materials for carrying out their tasks, as well as their proper functioning.
  • Supervise and manage the daily record of material withdrawal and its corresponding return (signed by each transfer assistant).
  • Keep track, inventory, and report office material needs (vouchers, pens, clipboards, bags, etc.) to the Operations Manager.
  • Report any changes, situations, or modifications that could improve service quality to the Operations Manager and Traffic (Traffic.bcn@mtsglobe.com).
  • Report changes and incidents to the transfer provider, sending copies to the Operations Manager and Traffic (Traffic.bcn@mtsglobe.com).
  • Weekly/bi-weekly report (to be defined) on incidents with suppliers as well as the status of operations in general to the Operations Manager.
  • Training for new staff members.
  • Selection of shift coordinator in your absence (work coordination tasks) with prior approval from the Operations Manager.
  • Support in the management of AENA accreditations alongside with the Operations Manager.
  • Creation/support in the management of monthly schedules and timetables together with the Operations Manager.

Requirements

  • Advanced level of English is a must, other languages will be a plus
  • Experience in people management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proactive, organized individual with a positive attitude the role
