Job description

 

We are looking for a Contracting Manager to join our MTS Globe team in Greece. As a Contracting Manager, you will be responsible to increase revenue by achieving strategic contracting with key accounts. You will work closely with the Head of Contracting to ensure that revenue from the designated territory meets and exceeds the planned budget.

Main responsibilities:

  • To ensure contracts targets are met and maintains/grows production in the designated areas.
  • Perform contracting trips to all areas within territory and resolve all contracting-related issues (including sales, pricing, operations, IT and credit control), internally with other departments and externally with suppliers. 
  • Lead and close deals with some key account partners in order to allow the increase in margin needed by the company.
  • Follow up of the performance of the contract; follow up allocations, control of allocation fulfilment and performance, special offers request, price comparisons, releases, renegotiations of conditions… etc.
  • Analyse the sales performance and make accurate recommendation based on comparisons to previous years, competitors and margins. Considering Flight availabilities, new operations or any changes affecting the performance of the contracted product.
  • Analyse market trends and identify new streams of business for revenue generation. Visit of new possible products, caring and building up actual and future product portfolio.
  • Specific projects as requested by senior management. 

Requirements

  • Strong experience in the contracting/hotel distribution area:
    • Goal/target oriented
    • Negotiating and persuading ability at all levels of contracting operation
    • Strong understanding of local suppliers and market dynamics
    • Deadline oriented and objective driven
    • Strategic/creative thinker with ability to communicate effectively and work back from Z to A
    • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Required to travel within territory, trade shows, internal meeting etc. as needed
  • Fluent Greek and English (written and spoken), other language will be a plus
